The short version: Onward collects as little as possible, uses it only to do what you asked, and never sells it.

What we collect

• If you sign up for alerts: your email address and the passport you selected — so the alerts we send you are relevant to you.
• Anonymous usage data: basic, aggregated analytics (like page views) to understand what's useful. No personal profiles.
• We do not collect your passport document, ID, or any application details. Onward is an information tool — you never hand it your documents.

Your device (cookies & storage)

Your preferences — theme and the passport you pick — are saved in your own browser (local storage) and aren't sent to us. If you click a partner link, that partner may set its own cookies; see our Affiliate Disclosure.

How we use it

To send the change-alerts you requested, and to improve Onward. That's it. We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't send marketing you didn't ask for.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make Onward work — our email provider (to deliver alerts), our host, and analytics — each under their own privacy terms. Partner sites you choose to visit handle their own data.

Your choices

Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe. You can also email us any time to see or delete what we hold about you.
