Onward is a free, beautifully designed way to see where any of the world's 199 passports can travel — an interactive globe, a passport-power ranking, and always-updated visa data. Use anything here.
The story: a widening passport divide
The strongest passports now open around 168 destinations without a visa in advance; the weakest, about 26 — a mobility gap of more than 140 countries between the top and bottom. Rankings shift every year as new eTA and e-visa schemes launch (EU ETIAS, the UK ETA), making "where can your passport take you?" an evergreen, visual story. See the live passport power ranking.
